(Daikin) and the Houston Astros hosted an event on Wednesday, February 26 to celebrate Daikin Park ahead of the first season as the home of the Houston Astros. The event was attended by Houston Astros leadership, City of Houston elected officials, Consul General Zentaro Naganuma, and the Greater Houston Partnership along with business leaders such as Daikin Comfort Technologies, North America, Inc.’s CEO Satoru Akama, Representative, Americas Chairman of the Board Jiro Tomita, and Executive Vice President and Chief Sales and Marketing Officer Taka Inoue. It featured remarks, networking and a commemorative sake barrel tapping ceremony complete with a crowd toast as a nod to Daikin’s Japanese heritage.

Daikin Announces New Distribution Relationship Reaching 6 States with Venerable M&A Supply
Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc. (Daikin) has announced a new relationship with M&A Supply, one of the country’s largest independent HVACR wholesalers. Daikin Comfort Technologies North America, Inc. (Daikin) announced a new collaboration with the City of Houston to install up to 30 high efficiency, horizontal discharge, inverter Daikin FIT heat pumps units over the next three years.
