Santa Fe College Pilots Daikin University Training Program

Daikin has named Gainesville, Florida’s Santa Fe College as the first post-secondary institution to pilot the complete Daikin University training program. Daikin donated equipment to the college’s Heating, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Ventilation (HARV) Program, where students can complete a degree in just two years with intensive hands-on training. Daikin is pleased to introduce the new 8-Zone Multi-Split system (RMXS48LVJU) targeting light commercial and whole-house residential markets. The 4 ton system is an energy-efficient (up to 18.8 SEER, and 11.3 HSPF) high-capacity heat pump system with the ability to connect to an expanded line of indoor units, including the new 2’ x 2’ ceiling cassette units (9-18 MBH), the extended range of slim duct units (9-24 MBH), and wall mounted units (7-24 MBH). Multi-Split Systems

These new cassettes can be applied to larger zones, and feature adjustable airflow (2, 3 or 4-way blow), compatibility with newer wired and wireless controllers, and pre-installed condensate pumps for ease of condensate removal.
